The other week my daughter was, yet again, sick. I tried to get her into her doctor and, of course, she was on block and could not see the doctor. Why is this you ask? Yes, apparently Jack never paid the $70 needed to make her current.
I texted Jack up and asked why her medical bills weren’t paid so I can take her to the doctor.
Jack- I provide the insurance, you pay the bills.
Me- Weird. According to the court papers, you are responsible for 44% of her bills and the $70 you failed to pay isn’t even close to 44%.
Jack- Well it’s bullshit that I have to pay when I provide the insurance.
Me- You don’t pay for your insurance. You get it free from your work because you are union, moron. And if you weren’t going to pay the $70, you should have mentioned it. Not wait until I need to take her and can’t.
Jack- Well can I take her to my dr?
Me- WTF!?!? No. She has a dr. We’ve been through this. Changing her dr. doesn’t erase her medical bills.
Jack- well you are supposed to have insurance for her as well so we don’t have to pay for anything.
Me- Really? Where does it say in the papers that I am supposed to provide insurance for her? The whole reason why you provide the insurance is because you wanted to. I don’t have to provide insurance if I don’t want to.
Jack- Well, I don’t like her doctor.
Me- Hahah are you kidding me? Okay, well this conversation is over.
Are you fucking kidding me? How would he know if her doctor is good or not when all I take her to is urgent care because she is on hold with her regular doctor? And how the fuck does the average Joe sleep at night knowing he is screwing with his daughter’s health? Really?
Needless to say, I love my convos with him.
